Classified Senate Elections - October 2020

The individuals who are running for positions within the classified senate will be outlined in our February and March Newsletters.

  • President (available, with re-election potential for current President)
  • Vice-President (available, with re-election potential for current Vice President)
  • Senator positions open for these areas of representation:
        • Administration & President's Office (1 position available)
        • Instruction (1 position available)
        • Operations (1 position available)
        • At Large Senator (2 positions available)

Are you interested in being the voice of classified professionals in campus governance.

The Classified Senate is one of the main ways that you are able to play a key role in campus decision-making, bring ideas of professional development, inclusion, and anything else that you think classified professionals need.

The ARC Classified Senate will be holding Elections in October 2020. Usually elections are held in April, however, they were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New senators were appointed to open positions. Now is when these individuals have the opportunity to be elected to the Classified Senate by the classified professionals constituency. The voting will be held online for those who have access to internet remotely. Senators representing areas where individuals do not have access to internet remotely will contact them using other means.
