Hazardous wastes have characteristics such as being Flammable, Toxic, Corrosive or Reactive. Hazardous waste must be managed in accordance with State and Federal law and must be disposed of through a designated Hazardous waste hauler. Hazardous waste generators must ensure the safe and proper ordering, storing, labeling, accumulation, packaging, and disposal of Hazardous materials and waste.
