GE courses are spaces that attract a wide range of students, in terms of their academic/professional interests. This presents instructors with unique opportunities and unique challenges to make their course content resonate with a large number of ARC students. This workshop is meant for faculty to consider the unique context of GE courses. What are the opportunities that exist within these courses to serve as ambassadors of your discipline and department at ARC? What does it mean for a GE course to be “student-ready” when such a variety of students enroll in your course?
